News: 7 injured in auto vs. pedestrian crash in East Austin 

EAST AUSTIN, TX – Four adults and three children sustained injuries in a vehicle versus pedestrian collision that happened on northbound Bastrop Highway Sunday.

This crash occurred between the 1200th to 1451th block. Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department arrived at the scene after 8:20 p.m.

Among the total occupants, two adults and one child sustained minor wounds but did not require a trip to the emergency room.

The other individuals, two adults and two children, were hospitalized. The adults are recovering from minor injuries, with one at St. David’s South Medical Center and the other at Dell Children’s. The child is also at Dell Children’s but is recovering from serious lacerations.

Officials have not specified the events that led to this wreck, listed charges or citations, or commented on the contributing factors.
