AUSTIN, TX – Four were hospitalized after a crash that happened at East Riverside Drive and Alameda Drive after 1:15 a.m. Jan 1.
One was pinned inside their vehicle and extricated by medics, ATCEMS tweeted. Two cars were involved in the collision.

The impact left eight people injured. Four people sustained minor injuries.
Three people were transported to South Austin Medical Center for severe and minor injuries, and one was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for critical, life-threatening injuries.
