News: Accident closes section of southbound I-35 near Round Rock

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Authorities were called to a collision New Year’s Day on Interstate 35 near Round Rock, according to the Texas Department of Transportation Austin (TxDOT Austin).

The accident unfolded on the southbound side of I-35 near the city’s Chisholm Valley area. It was first recorded by TxDOT at about 8:10 p.m.

While the cause and nature of the wreck remain unknown to the public, all southbound lanes in the area were shut down during the emergency response.
