News: Accident reported on Mopac Expy at Steck Ave in north Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities responded to a collision late Tuesday morning on the North Mopac Expressway in north Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page.

The accident was reported between the 8200 and 8236 block of the southbound service road near Steck Avenue. Dispatchers first received the call at about 11:50 a.m.

While Austin Police Department officials have not shared specific details about the vehicles involved and the circumstances of the event, the incident was listed as “Crash Urgent” indicating likely minor injuries to at least one person.
