News: Alleged speeding leads to fatal wreck in Cedar Park 

CEDAR PARK, TX – Drivers of two vehicles were allegedly speeding when one of them lost control and crashed into a guardrail, claiming the life of a 19-year-old man Saturday.

Cedar Park police said the collision happened at 11:45 p.m. in the 6400th block of 183 A Toll. Officers said one motorist was traveling at a rate of 140 mph and tried to overtake the vehicle in front of them going 100 mph. The second driver then plowed into a guardrail, and moments later, the man perished at the scene.

Officers have identified the victim as Jacob Langford. They did not specify whether he was the driver or a passenger.

The police department said an investigation is underway.
