DOWNTOWN AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department is investigating the details behind a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened in downtown Austin on Tuesday, Fox7Austin said.
The incident unfolded around 2 a.m., when a driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the 7200th block of Congress Avenue.
The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Police said the suspect allegedly fled the scene.
At this time, police have not released a description of the suspect or the victim’s identity.
