AUSTIN, TX – A section of Barton Springs Road near Austin’s Zilker Metropolitan Park was closed Thursday night due to a collision, according to KXAN.
Austin Police Department officials said the accident unfolded at around 9:30 p.m., forcing part of the road to shut down from William Barton Drive to Andrew Zilker Road.
No other details about the incident have been made available, but investigators said two vehicles were involved and that the APD was conducting an investigation.
No mention of injuries or potential charges have been made at this time.
