AUSTIN, TX – A man suffered a fractured skull and other injuries after he was violently attacked on Tuesday, March 28th.
The incident took place between 5 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on the 6800 block of Airport Boulevard, the Austin Police Department revealed.
Officials said a preliminary investigation indicated that the man who was attacked was sleeping on a mat when another person took an unspecified object and hit him on the head.
The unknown person who conducted the assault fled the scene and has not been found.
The man with injuries was later discovered by a cyclist, who notified authorities. First responders then transported the victim to a hospital, where his condition was unknown.
