AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was injured in a collision that happened outside the AUS Airport on Wednesday.
The crash occurred before 6 p.m. on the 2900th block of East State Highway 71 Service Road, according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page. Police shut down at least one lane to allow crews to clean up debris from the crash and remove the impacted vehicles.
Austin Police reported minor-to-moderate injuries, but did not specify whether anyone needed to go to the hospital.
Police did not disclose the number of people and vehicles involved, and are actively working to determine the cause of the crash.
