News: At least 1 injured in traffic collision in East Austin 

EAST AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision outside Willie Chapel Church on Tuesday. 

The crash happened on the 1900th block of Chestnut Avenue., according to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page. Police arrived at the scene at 7:37 p.m. and closed a portion of the lane to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process and investigation. 

Authorities said at least one person suffered minor-to-moderate injuries in the crash, but have not said if anyone needed to go to the hospital. 

The number of people and vehicles has not been reported. 

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
