SOUTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was injured in a vehicle crash that occurred in Southeast Austin near the AUS Airport on Friday.
According to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page, deputies were dispatched to the 8000th block of Elroy Road and arrived at the scene before 8 p.m.
Deputies closed at least one lane to accommodate the scene clean-up process and to render aid to the involved occupants.
Officials reported minor-to-moderate injuries, but did not say if anyone needed to go to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
