AUSTIN, TX – Two ATCEMS medics were sent to the hospital after they got hit by an alleged drunk driver near Lady Bird Lake.
The collision happened in the area of South Congress and East Riverside around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. According to KXAN, the medics were dispatched when the alleged drunk driver hit their ambulance.
The two medics sustained unspecified injuries. One still cannot perform job responsibilities; there has been no word on their current conditions.
