News: Austin PD investigates injury crash in South Lamar  

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police are investigating the details behind a crash that injured at least one person in the South Lamar area Thursday.

Officers arrived at the 4200th block of South Lamar Boulevard before 7:30 p.m. Police said minor wounds were reported. Crews blocked at least one lane for the scene clean-up process and investigation. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution or avoid the area until crews are able to restore safe road conditions.

The exact cause of the crash and the number of people and vehicles involved have not been made available.
