AUSTIN, TX – Austin police officer identified as Daniel Kessler Jr. pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding in connection with a January 2025 injury crash.
Fox7Austin said that Kessler must pay a $500 fine for each count, according to his plea agreement.
On January 21, 2025, Kessler was speeding while driving a squad car and was on his way to an emergency call when he crashed into three other cars.
Two drivers were left with unspecified injuries.
