News: Austin Police confirm one fatality; identity of hit-and-run driver from Las Cimas crash

AUSTIN, TX – As of Monday, Austin Police have found and confirmed the identity of the hit-and-run driver responsible for the crash in Las Cimas.

The hit-and-run driver was identified as Jarai Brady, 20, CBS Austin reported. The collision occurred before 8 pm at Crystalbrook Drive and Loyola Lane on Tuesday, Sept.28. 

Brady drove his 2008 Honda Accord through a red light, resulting in hitting a 2014 Toyota Corolla. 

The driver of the Toyota Corolla was identified as Yolanda Shelby, 53. 

Shelby was hospitalized at Dell Seton Medical Center, where she later died.
