News: Auto wreck with pin-in in Jonestown claims 2 lives 

JONESTOWN, TX – Two people succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene, while a third was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center after a Saturday afternoon crash with a reported pin-in. 

This two-vehicle collision took place before 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Pecan Drive and FM 1431 Road, according to Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

Travis County Emergency Services District No. 1 was among the first responders and said at least one person was pinned inside their vehicle. However, they did not confirm if that victim was among the deceased or was the surviving individual. 

Nonetheless, the surviving person (transported via a STAR-Flight helicopter) is recovering from lacerations deemed “potentially serious.” 

At this time, police/deputies summoned to the scene have not specified the events that led to this serious collision nor released the victims’ identities. These details will be provided in an updated news article as more information surfaces.
