News: Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run crash in Austin 

AUSTIN, TX – A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash that happened west of Lively Middle School last week, according to Fox7Austin.

The incident unfolded when a driver of a silver sedan turned right onto East Mary Street from South Congress Avenue and collided with the approaching cyclist.

The cyclist, who was identified as Anthony Arredondo Jr., was cycling to work at Mellow Johnny’s bike shop when the crash happened outside of Chase Bank.

Arredondo and the driver pulled over. Moments later, the male driver of the sedan fled the scene.

Arredondo was left with a few scratches and a sprained shoulder and appears to be in stable condition.

Arredondo is anticipated to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the fleeing driver.
