News: Bicyclist loses life in solo crash on Walnut Creek Trail 

AUSTIN, TX – A bicyclist’s life was claimed following a single collision on the Walnut Creek Hike and Bike Trail Saturday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said they arrived at the scene, the 6100th block of Loyola Lane, before 9:15 a.m.

After arriving, paramedics noticed that the cyclist was unconscious and started performing CPR on them. Despite their best efforts, the cyclist succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. 

ATCEMS CHP Tahoe and Austin Fire Department were also summoned to the scene. Deputies or police who responded to the area have not specified the events leading up to this bike crash nor publically released the victim’s name at this time.
