News: Cedar Park officials dispatched to auto fire along New Hope Park

CEDAR PARK, TX – Cedar Park fire crews and police were summoned to a vehicle fire reported around 8:30 a.m. Monday along New Hope Park.

We are on scene assisting @CedarParkFire with a vehicle fire and have eastbound lanes of W New Hope shutdown at Lakeline.

This incident took place at the West New Hope Drive and Lakeline Boulevard junction. Officials shut down the eastbound lanes to put out the fire and to investigate the events leading up to this crash. 

At this time, first responders have not said if the fire was caused by mechanical issues or by a collision. They also did not specify if anyone was injured.
