News: Child killed in North Austin pedestrian vs. car crash

AUSTIN, TX – One was seriously injured, and another was left dead in a car-pedestrian crash Saturday. 

The collision occurred before 4:30 p.m. on the 900 block of North Meadows Drive, ATCEMS tweeted. 

A child succumbed to his or her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The second person was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, where the occupant’s current condition is unknown. 

Details are preliminary, and updates will be posted to the news blog when they become available.
