News: Crash near Decker Lake sends 2 to hospital 

AUSTIN, TX – One person was transported by ground, and another was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center after a crash along Decker Lake Wednesday. 

The two-vehicle collision took place before 3:30 p.m. in the 8018th block of North FM 973 Road and warranted a response from Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services, The Austin Fire Department, and Travis County Emergency Services District No. 12.

Upon arrival, fire crews had to extricate one person who was pinned inside their vehicle. After completing the extrication, medics issued the extricated individual and other occupant trauma alerts.  

STAR Flight was the airlifted occupant was left in critical condition, and medics said the other was left in serious condition. Officials have not specified the exact cause of the crash.
