NORTH AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Fire Department extricated one person who was trapped inside a vehicle prior to ATCEMS crews taking two people to a local hospital after a crash Thursday.
Austin Fire Crews and ATCEMS responded to the scene, the 10000th block of South Interstate Highway 35, before 12:45 p.m. The two adults who were sent to St. David’s South Austin are currently recovering from serious, non-life-threatening wounds, while the three other people involved did not require a trip to the hospital.

It is unclear whether the non-hospitalized individuals sustained injuries of any kind and how this collision was brought about.
