Officers lifted the southbound lane closures at 1:31 p.m. and first announced this crash at 8:35 a.m. During the closures, drivers were redirected to the right shoulder.
Since the area was shut down for a significant amount of time, it suggests this collision was major.
The events leading up to this wreck and whether anyone was injured or hospitalized remain unclear. Still, these additional details will be added as our newsroom learns more.
