AUSTIN, TX – Transportation crews shut down a portion of U.S. 290 East before Highway 71 due to a vehicle accident on Friday.
Total Traffic Austin first announced the crash and closure at 5:00 p.m., saying they blocked the right lane. Traffic delays could be seen on Scenic Brook Drive after the vehicle accident.
No injuries have been reported.
The exact cause of the collision and the number of people and vehicles involved were not reported.
