EAST AUSTIN, TX – A cyclist was hospitalized for serious injuries after getting struck by a driver in East Austin before 7 p.m. Thursday.
According to ATCEMS, the collision took place on the 1100 block of Tillery Street. Medics performed CPR on the cyclist, who was then transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.

It is not immediately clear who had the right of way if the driver will face charges, and what exactly prompted this crash.
