News: Deputies, fire crews called to vehicle fire near Austin Exec. Airport 

AUSTIN, TX – Travis County deputies and Austin fire crews were summoned to the scene of a vehicle fire reported south of the Austin Executive Airport on Monday.

According to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page, authorities were dispatched to the 13300th block of North State Highway 130 Service Road. They pulled up to the scene, the southbound lanes, just before 5:00 p.m.

Firefighters have not confirmed how the fire started or whether anyone was injured.

At least one lane was shut down so crews could extinguish the flames. No lane reopenings have been reported at this time.

Drivers are urged to proceed with caution, avoid the area, or seek alternative routes as authorities work to restore safe road conditions.
