News: Driver critically hurt in crash with pole in Bouldin Creek 

AUSTIN, TX – A driver was left in critical condition after they crashed their vehicle into a pole along the Gibson Flats Apartments Thursday night.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and Austin Fire Department crews arrived at the 1200th block of West Gibson Street after 7 p.m. After arriving, crews extricated the pinned driver from their vehicle.

Once the excitation was completed, EMS crews transported the motorist to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.

Authorities did not reveal the contributing factors behind the crash.
