BUDA, TX – A driver of a semi-truck was left unharmed after they lost control of their 18-wheeler on IH 35 East and then crashed on Tuesday, March 12th.
Buda Police announced just before 5 a.m. that they shut down the IH 35 North leading to East Main Street due to this crash. They later reopened all lanes after crews cleared the scene around 7 a.m.
ROAD CLOSURE: 4:55 a.m Northbound IH35 access road is closed from Overpass Road (Speedy Stop) to East Main St due to a major commercial vehicle accident. Use alternate routes and avoid the area if possible. Intital reports indicate a semi tractor trailer left the highway. #budatx

UPDATE: 7 a.m. IH35 east access north from Overpass road has reopened and the roadway is clear. However, a secondary collision on IH35 proper near exit 220 may still cause delays. pic.twitter.com/mYcSGpc0kl
