NORTH AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene after they were struck by a vehicle near J. J. Pickle Research Campus Thursday night.Â
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this crash took place between the 9600 to 1051th block of northbound MoPac Expressway, indicating they arrived at the scene before 8 p.m.Â

First responders started an investigation and have not released additional information at this time, including the pedestrian’s name. Â
