ROUND ROCK, TX – A cyclist lost their life after they were struck by a vehicle on I-35 North Frontage Road along East Old Settlers Boulevard Tuesday.
Round Rock Police first announced the collision after 12 p.m. After arriving, they shut down all westbound lanes from North May Street to I-35 to accommodate the scene clearance process. Authorities reopened all lanes after 2 p.m.
Officers are responding to a fatal crash involving a cyclist on the northbound I-35 frontage road at E Old Settlers Blvd near McDonald’s.
All westbound traffic from N Mays St to I-35, including the bridge, is currently shut down.

Officials are actively working to determine the exact cause of the crash. They have not released the victim’s name at this time.
