News: Driver fatally strikes cyclist near AUS Airport 

AUSTIN, TX – A cyclist succumbed to fatal injuries after getting struck by a vehicle in the south of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Friday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision happened in the 7300 block of southbound U.S. 183 Highway and indicated they arrived at the scene before 4 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders declared the cyclist dead at the scene. 

Officials have not provided additional information with regards to the events leading up to Friday’s collision, released the victim’s name, or said if the driver of the vehicle will face charges.
