News: Driver fatally strikes female pedestrian in North Austin 

NORTH AUSTIN, TX – A woman walking in the 1400th block of Rutland Drive lost her life when she was run over by a vehicle last Friday, Dec. 6. 

Austin Police said they responded to the scene before 4 a.m. and confirmed the driver remained at the scene and was not intoxicated while operating their vehicle. 

An investigation was launched, and all details are not final. Anyone with more information about this deadly collision is advised to contact police at the phone number listed in the press release. Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest may be entitled to a $1,000 reward.
