AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian lost their life after they were hit by a vehicle before 1 a.m. Monday in the Highland district.
Austin Travis County Emergency Services revealed this collision happened on the 6500 block of southbound I-35 near Highland Drive. Upon arrival, they declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. They have not specified the events leading up to the crash, released the pedestrian’s name, or indicated pending charges.
