News: Driver fatally strikes pedestrian in North Austin 

NORTH AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was declared dead at the scene after getting struck by a driver of a vehicle in the North Lamar area Sunday. 

The collision happened at 9:45 p.m. on the 10200th block of North Lamar Boulevard and warranted a response from Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and Austin fire crews.

Officials are investigating the exact cause of the crash and have not released the victim’s name. Updates will be provided as our newsroom learns more.
