NORTH AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries after getting hit by a vehicle before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the North Lamar district.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services indicated this collision occurred in the 9900 block of North Lamar Boulevard, revealing the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

Local officials started an investigation, and have not confirmed if the driver will be cited or charged for their involvement in this incident.
