TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries after they were struck by a vehicle carrying heavy equipment in the West Lake Hills area Wednesday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision occurred in the 3000 block of Westlake Drive, revealing they arrived at the scene after 12 p.m. Upon arriving, they conducted CPR on the pedestrian. However, despite their best efforts, the pedestrian died at the scene.

At this time, authorities did not say if the driver will be cited or charged and have not disclosed the pedestrian’s name.
