News: Driver fatally strikes pedestrian in West Oak Hill 

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal wounds after they were struck by a vehicle in the 7400th block of west State Highway in the West Oak Hill area Tuesday. 

Upon arrival, police had to close the west and eastbound lanes for the standard scene clearance and investigation procedure, Austin Police revealed. Amid closures, authorities diverted traffic toward Highway 290, Oak Meadow Drive, and Scenic Brook Drive.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services were also summoned to the scene. Officials have not released other information at this time.
