DOWNTOWN AUSTIN, TX – A person and their dog were struck by a vehicle, and two people were bitten by the dog at San Jacinto Boulevard & East 8th Street Sunday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Services responded to the scene before 10:30 p.m. The dog owner was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of potentially serious injuries; it is unclear if the dog was hurt or taken to a veterinarian.

The two people who were bitten declined to be taken to a hospital. At this time, their conditions are unknown, and officials have not provided more information on this incident.
