AUSTIN, TX – A driver was pinned inside their car, extricated, and then airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center after their vehicle slammed into a fence near Decker Lake Sunday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services arrived at the 7300th block of North FM 973 Road and Travis County Emergency Services District before 5:15 p.m.

Prior to the extrication, fire crews declared a trauma alert before STAR Flight took them to Dell Seton for serious, life-threatening wounds.
Authorities started an investigation, but have not been able to confirm the reason behind why the driver lost control of their vehicle prior to this solo collision.
