EAST AUSTIN, TX – A man on an e-bike lost his life after he was struck by a vehicle in East Austin on Tuesday, CBS Austin reports.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. off Oak Springs Drive and Airport Boulevard.
The scooter rider died from his injuries at the scene.
Police do not suspect impairment on behalf of the driver and have not arrested them.
Police did close the area temporarily for the on-scene investigation, which has since reopened.
