ROUND ROCK, TX – First responders were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on eastbound FM 1431 along Newson Drive Friday.
Round Rock Police said that everyone involved in this incident escaped injuries, and fire crews had to shut down to accommodate the flame extinguishing process.
Officers are on the scene of a vehicle fire with no injuries on eastbound FM 1431 near Newson Dr. All eastbound lanes are currently shut down. Please expect delays and seek alternate routes. pic.twitter.com/32mgjIHnHr

At this time, officials have not specified whether the fire resulted from a collision or mechanical issues nor stated the number of people involved.
