News: 1 extricated, sent to hospital after auto wreck in Rosewood

AUSTIN, TX – One person had to be extricated from their vehicle and then taken to a trauma center for treatment after a two-vehicle wreck in Rosewood Saturday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services and the Austin Fire Department arrived at the 2900th block of East 12th Street before 2:45 p.m. The rescued patient is recovering from minor wounds, according to officials.

Law enforcement has not disclosed the events leading up to the crash. It’s also unclear whether anyone was cited or charged for their involvement.
