News: Extrication wreck in SE Austin sends 3 to hospital 

SOUTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – Two adults and one child were hospitalized following a crash that required extrication in the Bluff Springs area Sunday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services announced this collision at approximately 10:22 a.m., stating it took place at the Old Lockhart Road and East Slaughter Lane intersection. At least one person was extricated prior to ATCEMS ambulances taking the two adults and kid to Dell Seton and Dell Seton Children’s Medical Center.

At the hospital, one of the adults is recovering from critical, life-threatening injuries, while the other adult and child are healing from minor wounds. 

One other adult was involved in this wreck and suffered minor lacerations as well. However, they refused hospital transportation. 

Police/deputies summoned to the scene have not specified the events leading to this collision or stated if citations or criminal charges were made official. These details will be provided in an updated news blog post once new developments get confirmed.
