AUSTIN, TX – A driver of an unspecified vehicle crashed into a pillar in the St. John’s area, leading the automobile to catch fire and claiming the lives of two people Sunday.
This solo crash happened before 8:40 a.m. in the 7000th block of northbound IH 35, according to Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

Medics declared the two victims dead at the scene. They have not issued a formal statement regarding the exact cause of this crash nor released the victims’ names at this time.
