AUSTIN, TX – An ATCEMS ambulance rushed two people to a local trauma facility following a fiery collision reported before 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Riverside district.
The crash happened at the 2538th block of Elmont Drive when one driver had struck several walkers and then a food truck, which caused the driver’s automobile to catch on fire, additional information from an ATCEMS X post reveals.

As for the two people sent to the trauma center, one person is recovering from serious, non-life-threatening wounds and another from minor injuries.
Two more occupants were involved. However, they were spared from physical harm.
The Austin Fire Department also assisted with the emergency response.
