News: Fire crews extinguish semi fire on I-35 in Buda 

BUDA, TX – Fire crews extinguished a tractor-trailer fire on I-35 South before Robert South Light Boulevard around 3:54 p.m. last Thursday. 

Buda Police, who also responded to the scene, said a tow truck was involved, but it appears the tow truck did not catch on fire. Officers initially closed most of the southbound lanes and left one open to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation process.

Hazmat Crews later closed a far right lane to continue clearing the area, and all lanes reopened around 1 a.m. The exact cause of this incident has not been stated, nor were there any reports of injuries.
