ELGIN, TX – One was critically injured, three were hurt, and one died following a single-vehicle collision Saturday.
ATCEMS responded to the scene – the 1200 block of County Line Road – before 9 p.m. Two were pinned inside the vehicle and able to get out thanks to aid from first responders.
Vehicle Rescue at 12200-12633 County Line Rd (20:47). #ATCEMS, Elgin Fire & @STAR_Flight_TC are on scene of a collision involving two patients, both are pinned their vehicle, with extrication in progress. More information to follow.

One of the pinned victims succumbed to fatal injuries, and the other was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center for critical-life-threatening injuries.
The three individuals who were hurt sustained minor injuries and did not require transportation to a hospital.
