GARFIELD, TX – One person was left dead after a pin-in collision at the intersection of State Highway 71 and Granny Drive Friday.
ATCEMS was first made aware of the crash around 6 a.m. Upon arrival, the person was trapped inside his or her vehicle. First responders were able to free the victim, but then the occupant went into cardiac arrest.

Despite life-saving measures performed, the person succumbed to fatal injuries.
