LEANDER, TX – Four occupants of a silver SUV were sent to area hospitals, and another passenger and its driver died after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver Saturday.
Leander Police said this collision happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Hero Way and 183A Toll Road intersection when the SUV collided with the hit-and-run driver, who was reported to have driven a Tan SUV hauling a trailer.
Officials have yet to locate the suspect. The four injured occupants were two juveniles, who were sent to Dell Children’s Hospital, and a man and woman transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.
No further information, including the names of the deceased victims, has been released at this time.
