AUSTIN, TX – A hit-and-run in downtown Austin last Friday morning left one man in critical condition.
According to a report by KXAN, the man was hit shortly before 2 a.m. near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Red River Street.
The victim, whose identity is unclear at this time, was transported to a nearby hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The driver involved fled the scene before first responders arrived. Police say the suspect vehicle, a white SUV, was seen heading south on I-35 soon after the crash.
